The Community Development Authority and its private partners this week released plans for development that will transform a former bus transfer point at the intersection of South Park Street and West Badger Road, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. An eight-story building will include roughly 160 one-, two-, and three-bedroom housing units, and a five-story building next door will offer around 40 units of housing for seniors.
There will be shared community spaces within and between the buildings, as well as on the rooftops, along with around 300 underground parking spaces. Most units will be reserved for those making up to 60% of the area median income, with the rest capped at 30%, 50%, or 70%.
